Remains to be seen if Whittaker is going to be good for us, obviously hasn't had the best of starts .
Not sure about the stroppiness though , there's obviously different accounts on his ' refusing to turn up' though.

When I was first going to the match in late 60s me dads marra told me “ Nivver tell anyone what your football teams gonna do to theirs”. Granted that cuts down the bantz but by Christ yer won’t make herself out to be a knaar nowt. Life will still provide you with opportunities aplenty to do that without bringing it on yourself.

Exactly how I view it.
Added to that, I've had that many let downs from Boro over the years to just know it's not worth the 'bragging'.

I’d have taken that dark haired tackling grafting midfield lad last summer no bother but is he PL quality? He may be their captain and a local lad so wadnt have come regardless even if Gibbo would sell to a NE club. H in his name. I’m not doing a search for it either.
