Tommy Conway - Mutants

Think AA just wants to play. But your second point is the most pertinent - do we want to bring in a player who might bust up what seems to be a very harmonious dressing room?
No we don't. We probably also suffered from a number of the older father figure type lads leaving, Baath and Bailey Wright were both extremely popular and canny fellas apparently. We also lost experience with Stewart and Gooch too, probably others I have overlooked. Even more reason why Luke is so important to our squad, he is the wise old man now and an absolute diamond into the bargain.

You say that but Carrick always looks at people's character as well as their ability.
Pretty sure he wouldn't entertain anyone who is disruptive.
Our squad is very harmonious.

My brother in law is happy. Mutants just signed an incredible young talent. A 22 year old Jamie Vardy type, power, pace and goals. I tip them for a top two berth.
Couldn't be further from the truth, he's a finisher but lacks much pace/power. Without trying to sound like the bitter ex, out of our three academy prospects sold in recent years (Alex Scott, Antoine Semenyo, Tommy Conway) he is the one of the three that I don't think will ever go above Championship level.

Why? Boro have a very ambitious owner.
He was. They spend the money they generate now, just as we did with Stewart but Speakman totally wasted it. They sell their better players whereas we try to keep hold of them.

I wouldn’t have minded him here but i’m not sure even his Nanna would say he had pace. The lads slow as fuck.

Immensely arrogant, He's been training with the U21s, not just because he wouldn't sign a new contract, but they way he went about it. Pissed off the powers that be at City enormously. I don't think that type of personality would fit with us.
Which PL clubs bid for him? I assume Ipswich or Leicester would considering they need strikers.

I honestly fancy both the boro and Sheff wed to at least make the play offs. I’ll be at the match Sunday so thankfully I won’t be reading the match thread on here 😂😂
Owls must be favourites to win Sunday and if they do it will be brutal on here.

I await for his premier league champions and FA Cup winners medals and of course his England caps and goals with baited breath...

f***ing hell man, he's a f***ing nobody 😂

Who's Tommy Conway? Where does your brother in law fit into this? Is your brother in law Tommy Conway? Is your brother in law Jamie Vardy? Who are the Mutants?

People on here will be fuming to hear us say it, but you can't help but feel jealous about Boro's owner. Local lad who has always backed the club. Got it wrong plenty (we do that without the cash tbf) but they're constantly ambitious on/ off the field.

The ideal would be to take that backing he gives them and couple it with a good data led strategy/ a strong scouting network - which was our "ambition"
