Tinned fish

Love all tinned fish, but not a lot of variety over here for tinned fish in flavoured sauces, mainly just tomato.
Walmart do sardines in mustard sauce, but its American mustard, so really just sardines in yellow coloured sauce.
Current fave is Herring in curry pineapple sauce (In Aldi, but only during "German week")

Mackerel in tomato sauce

Usually have it with scrambled eggs and toast

Unreal

Or get mackerel/sardines in oil - add sriracha, lime juice and spring onions. Unreal

We live next to the sea. It’s full of fish. Get yourselves out there and catch the only really fresh fish you will ever eat.

Canned fish is nowt compared to truly fresh fish.

In general the Brits don't eat enough fish or make the most of our own produce.
Having said that, there's a time and plaice for both fresh and tinned varieties.

Everyone on the piers (if repaired) mackie bashing July/August! let's get marinating.
Welcome any flavour suggestions

Any cheap supermarket tinned tuna is a kitchen staple and often an emergency food lifesaver. If you a tin of tuna, a tin of tomatoes and some pasta then you always have a meal.

At the opposite end of the scale I bought some tinned tuna fillets in Portugal last year. They were expensive but totally different to the usual tinned tuna.
