As a company Madrox have gone. Time to think of the three as individuals with different motives. Sartori is a good friend of KLD's and is clearly in cahoots, Donald just wants as much as he can get for his stake, and Methven just wants to be relevant in some way, but is being kept out of it as much as possible/

Puts on Catherine Tate face - "Am I bovvered? Do I look bovvered?"
Methven is trying to be relevant by continuing his pathetic ramblings on here as kilcharlie mackem

Broadhead is backup for stuart, so what yoy are talking about is backup for the backup. players like Dajaku, Clarke and Roberts could have done a job up front at a pinch. Granted they wouldn't have been as successful as stewart but we wouldn't have been fucked.

For that, he followed the lead of a large majority of the fans and went for defoe.
Broadhead was injured and it was touch and go whether he'd play at all this season.
January left us light at centre half and forwards and we ended up getting a bit fortunate in injuries for once. An injury to Wright and/or Stewart and we'd have been snookered.
Obviously we got away with it, but theres no point trying to rewrite history.

An injury to wright we’d have played Doyle or xhamalji.
In January we got rid of flanners and brought in bathh. And brought in Hume. We had more defenders after the jan window. Shame the kongolo transfer didn’t go through also.
In jan we brought in Defoe and got rid of AOB to free up wages for him as we had to comply with SCMP spending less than 60% of turnover on wages.
Other than Defoe, we wouldn’t have been able to get anyone in who was an adequate replacement for Stewart or broadhead (imo).
People thinking that quality players would be rushing here to be 4th choice striker and sit on the bench all season aren’t being reasonable. Imo any player who would have come here wouldn’t have been as good an option as roberts or Dajaku upfront.
We’d have struggled with an injury to Stewart, just like every club would struggle with an injury to their star striker.

"Misinterpreted the facts. " So you're saying he lied about the parachute payments belonging to the club and he lied about paying £40 million for the club.
Yep. All so he could try to boost the credibility of his £37m asking price. Inevitable that this is the sticking point. Either lower your price to something that is reasonable, or pay back the remainder of the £25m.

For the chancers and short yes it was good deal for Safc it was catastrophic and if you don’t get that, you are either thick or off your trolley.
How was writing off all the debt not good for SAFC????

Short lost millions, he could have left the debt. It wasn't a great deal for short. If short had stayed, he'd have paid off some of his debt with that money anyway.

It was an indifferent deal for SD/CM.
