Tickets (Playoffs H & A)

If Watford was 44944 and Luton have taken 1100 more fans , how are we not over 46000 or am I just been stupid
Nope. Great point.

There’s a rabbit away somewhere.

Do the club not want to pay for extra stewards or policing or something?

When the fans were in the south stand there was a little fence separating people and a few stewards

There’ll be at least a thousand seats empty for segregation on Saturday.

Why can't we just sell the OTT segregation area to home fans? Is it because there'd be no permanent segregation in the concourses?

Surely they could put a temporary measure in place to enable an extra thousand seats to be sold?

Why does it only seem to be Sunderland that needs thousands of seats of segregation between fans?

Away fans in North upper is robbing us of 2000 extra seats

I think the argument is that 45300 is bull because everyone knows the stadium is capable of holding more. That’s nothing to do with how regularly people attend.

The limits on support and selling more tickets are as a result of safety mitigations. Had proper work been done on safety by club and authorities rather that patchy workarounds there’d likely be more bums on seats.

Anyway, superb support from the clubs fanbase as ever and hopefully everyone goes home very happy.
What’re the safety issues that need addressing?

I think because of the trouble last time we played Luton the police will have wanted a big segregation between us.

Tbf the problems that day were caused by Donald cashing in and giving them an allocation of 6000. As per usual in L1, the majority of tickets went on general sale and a load of wronguns travelled up for the day

I think because of the amount of times we've apparently been on report to the fa the club are shit scared of any potential problems.

I was on about this season, it resulted in 9 arrests for them youngins that have been causing bother. But aye that game in league one was awful as well.

how can it be? there is a picture further down the thread of us playing liverpool at home in the prem, with the away fans sold out section, a line of stewards and a couple of empty seats, and then sunderland fans sold out right up to the line. maybe 5 seats wide, 30 rows, so 150 seats max. not 3000
