Would have been a good idea if they hadn't turned emails offCan i suggest you email that to the club and get them to put it on the front page of the website? It may help with a few issues
Couldn't dee it.kICK HIS HEAD IN MATE FOR HIS ANGRY RESPONSE
For me, the biggest issue is the plainly wrong instruction/advice (to 20-odd thousand people) on the confirmation email that we would get an e-ticket after buying our ST seat. From what you are saying (and the fact that I haven't received said e-ticket), this is incorrect.
It seems as if SAFC/Ticketmaster couldn't be bothered to amend the standard email, and as far as I can see, haven't moved to correct this with any sort of announcement, so no doubt supporters are emailing the ticket office (as instructed in the email) to say they haven't received the e-ticket with, it seems, no response from the ticket office.
That, along with your point above, indicates to me a combination of gross incompetence, don't give a shit attitude and complete disregard for the supporter base.
That saddens me more than annoys me.

Wrong. Season card gets activated. You get an email with option of digi ticket or a print out PDF.
Not everyone has the time or inclination to search 108 pages of comments to find a correction to an official club email (although sadly enough i did)...and I, like many others don't have twitter.
If you click on the link in the tweet it takes you to the standard web page and doesnt mention activating your card at all.You must be logged on to see media items
...i've tried me best.it should also be in massive letters at the start of the email, instead of 'digital season tickets will be sent out in july' - which is irrelevant to this
it should just say 'IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR YOUR SEASON TICKET SEAT YOUR CARD WILL BE ACTIVATED '
probably would have cut the queue down by a decent percentage. and this thread
Exactly mate. It's nowt new. It’s been like that since we moved to season cards unless this just shows how many season card holders don’t bother with home cup games. Season cards were also activated for the home leg against Sheff wed last season
If you click on the link in the tweet it takes you to the standard web page and doesnt mention activating your card at all.
Surely its not difficult to update the web page with the words "2022-23 Season Ticket holders are advised that your seat is reserved within your e-ticketing account and your existing Season Card will be activated for this fixture upon purchase" so that the link matches the tweet?
Loads of people asking me haven't haven't tried to buy a ticket. They haven't even checked how to get one and presume I've got exclusive priority. The amount of people that are asking me if I can buy them tickets today at 12 o clock is insane.
You could look at it 2 ways... you could label them as thick for not being able to use the online system which I'm sure some would... or you could say this just proves how inaccessible the club are making it for some (not all) to buy from them

Bizarre
Hi people. I’m logged in, obviously it’s saying not available currently as I’m not a safc season ticket holder but are we expecting that to change to “Queue” at 11 or 12?
Could you please buy me 4 seats in block P3 or P7.Loads of people asking me haven't haven't tried to buy a ticket. They haven't even checked how to get one and presume I've got exclusive priority.
Bizarre
It’d have been a start if they told us that gmail is incompatible with the ticketing system, unless I missed an obvious press release.Absolutely.
If they’d done any kind of analysis or peer review of their email content prior to the tickets going on sale they would have noted that there was conflicting information. Yes they’ve put it on social media but it’s a dreadful customer experience.
