Sadly done both of these and its made not a scrap of difference.It's a cookie issue. They send a specific cookie that is then sent back with a request to check if you need to perform a captcha check and you've ended up stuck with an invalid one (or somehow you have javascript disabled).
Easiest solution is to just use a private browser window to getpast the issue. Alternatively open up dev tools in your browser, go to the Application tab and delete cookies, local and session storage for that site.
Thanks mate - I've tried all that but it hasn't helped. It's so frustrating. Everything else on the SAFC website works. And the ticketing section has worked OK right up until today. Following Saturday’s Stadium of Light match-up, the Lads will head south and take on the Hatters at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday 16 May (KO 8pm).
Supporters with 100+ Black Cat Points will be able to secure their seat tomorrow from 10am to 12 noon.

He is a current season ticket holder but not next year - any ideas? I've worked in tech for 30 odd years and never had an issue before. I can see him in my network but cant get to a ticket for him....any help appreciated
