Tickets (Playoffs H & A)

Arent semi final games traditionally slow sellers?

Sunderland 1 Portsmouth 0, 2019 L1 Play Off, 26,610
Sunderland 2 Man Utd 1, 2014 League Cup, 31,547
Sunderland 2 Crystal Palace 1, 2004 Championship Play Off, 34,536
Sunderland 1 Sheff Wed 0, 2022 L1 Play Off, 44,742
Sunderland 1 Leicester 2, 1999 League Cup, 38,332
Sunderland 2 Sheff Utd 0, 1998 Div 1 Play Off, 40,092

So the two Sheffield games 25 years apart were pretty well attended, but we had a run of poor crowds for semi finals in-between where, to be generous, we strugged to sell out.

might be a daft question - the first time you can rock up to the stadium to buy a ticket from the ticket office is 10am on Thursday is that correct?

Yes he will. People need to stop giving I’ll-informed advice, it’s misleading.

The information on the club website is pretty clear.

If you have a season card for this season or have already purchased a SC for next season, you can buy 1 ticket from 10am tomorrow.

People need to stop reading early parts of a conversation, and replying hours later when their post is no longer relevant.

I’m interested to know how this is gonna work. I have a season ticket. I’ve moved seats for next season and bought my son a ticket. Which seats are going to be available for me? If I buy my current seat my son won’t be able to sit next to me. Will my seats for next season be available for me or will I have to sit elsewhere still?

At the risk of @OohBaldyBally wrath, if you can buy tickets based on next seasons purchases, I'd guess you can buy them in your "new" seat too, as it will already be allocated.

I think it's going to be a case of wait and see what happens when the tickets are released.

Just went in to check my account, and it will not let me in. I tried to change my password and it said they do not recognise my email. Me thinks, there may be trouble ahead.

I can't go but my mate wants me to buy his and his grandsons for him. I created their accounts last year but can't remember how to buy their tickets and assign them. He can't do it himself. I managed to log in for a dry run, in my phone, as the ticketing site thinks I'm a robot when I use my kindle!

I mustn’t be the only supporter who in a funny way almost hopes we won’t get to Wembley. Frequenting pretty much every post since the message board began that has asked for help and advice has been met with extreme levity. It’s laughed off. Made light of. It’s an insult and a slap in the face. But then it’s in the way Mackems are. There’s a reason why there’s no Sunderland branch of the Samaritans. But fact remains is the final does clash with very important times in our life which makes it very difficult for us to go.

Take me for example. I’m away 12 whole days and no sooner than I return then I must ask for two days off from work having only worked one! I come back on Monday 22nd, I’m not in on the Tuesday and Wednesday, I work the Thursday and I’m asking to be off again on the Friday and Saturday! Talk about diabolical liberties! The cheek of me to ask for two days of so soon after being away for over a week. Mackems can’t see the position that puts me in. I would love to go back again and do what my lass and I did at the Charlton Athletic playoff final but it’s hard for me to do that.
That's mental.
I have two disabled kids and absolutely no one to look after them so no chance I can go to Wembley if we get there. I would never want us to fail though just because I can't go. I really hope we make it and that everyone that can go has a bloody fantastic time.

You are literally the only 'supporter' that doesn't want us to get there

I wish we’d finished 5th as the Saturday game clashes with something else. If I buy tickets for my ST seat and can’t subsequently get out of the clashing event, is it easy to cancel tickets and get a refund?
