Tickets (Playoffs H & A)

The wifey I spoke to was adamant it’s just a long process and was confident all emails would arrive. I had no faith in this so I took a paper ticket. Thinking about it though there can’t be that many needing digital tickets, surely, so why would it be such a long process. The only people needing digital tickets are people who’ve chosen a different seat to their current one and 23/24 ST holders. That can’t be that many, surely?!
I was told everything is sent immediately, so basically if I'd not gone in today I'd have never received a ticket. So anyone who hasn't received it will have to go in.

Never understood these threads about how many tickets are sold , it can’t make any difference to the op in the slightest and won’t stop him clapping like a seal when they announce the attendance anyway.
So don't worry about it or post on a thread dedicated to it.

Yeah. I emailed him yesterday about the “common despatch method“ issue and said that it would be good for the club to issue some form of communication. Just got an automated reply saying he had loads of E Mails and would respond in around 5 days.

Genuinely feel sorry for the guy cos this isn’t his bag of shite to sort out.

Aye, i emailed him a few weeks back saying 5 day reply and to email the ticket office (which i did). Got a reply from him after a few days, still not heard from the ticket office two weeks later (and i only emailed him after being ignored by the ticket office for a few weeks in the first place)

In my experience these things are essential immediately. The confirmation email says they will be sent quickly too. I got the feeling she was trying to get me out as soon as possible. I had a couple of other queries and she was very reluctant to help. That’s why I took the paper ticket when offered.

I've just had an email through with my dad's e-ticket on. He's a ST holder next year and his ticket was ordered by me at the same time as my normal ST seats.
So mine has hopefully gone on my card and I now have e-ticket for him.

Don't think it's coincidence that I gave @DufraisFTM my order details and he mentioned it when he was in the ticket office that I hadn't received them, suddenly 30 minutes later it comes through.
Seems like it could be a manual process for these type of orders which is a joke in this day and age and is waiting for human error to fuck something up.

The one who I saw was class she even asked if I wanted to check see if my ticket had gone on my Sc ok. I got the paper ticket for my old man instantly after she checked and saw the problem was a glitch.

Why are people not using their SC seat? I'm baffled as to why TBH

There'll be dozens of different reasons -

People want to sit with mates for a change
People want a better seat for same price
People went straight to the map and didn't realise thier seat was locked in for them already
People with ST for next season
People who tried to activate thier card and when it wouldn't work, bought another seat

Probably loads more reasons . You'll get people on here saying they are all stupid and none of this is the clubs fault etc... However in the normal private sector if you failed so miserably at predicting what your customers would want, failed so miserably at telling them how they can easily get what they want, failed miserably at allowing them to get what they want, and repeated these failures every single time you had to deal with your customers, whilst simultaneously making thier lives unnecessarily confusing and inconvenienced ...someone would lose thier job over it

Yet at SAFC the club clearly don't give a fuck about any of this, and most fans will blame other fans as a default position. Anyone pointing out these failures is branded a wailing fanny

Hence why the club get away with

1000s of fans literally standing out in the rain all day to get something they could, and should, be able to get online in a matter of minutes. Nothing will change

Superb post, balanced and sensible

Same issue

Now he can’t remember his f***ing password so tried to reset it but the email isn’t coming through to reset
Create a new non-gmail email account and ask them to switch it to that.

Think Chris Waters will be the only one at the club checking their emails and able to do anything.
Suspect he's snowed under, but worth a shot.
