Tickets (Playoffs H & A)


And you think the club have done a fantastic job here, turning phones and email off and late opening of the ticket office tomorrow?

You do realise people at the ticketless office today were season card holders? You realise some of them were turned away? You also realise they have no way of contacting the club until 12 tomorrow when their season ticket seats will be released to general sale :) :) Seriously its beyond shite


I agree, Picking the phone up or an email would have solved a lot of it. I worked in customer services at a high level, this is another shitshow from the caring club

The problems have been there all season bud but obviously the last 24 hours have highlighted the issues even more.

They could potentially open a telephone line but they probably don’t have the staff to cover it.

They could open the ticket office for longer but the staff probably need a break (and of course will have other commitments)
 
I was there 2 weeks ago when the club informed me by e mail that I had cancelled my direct debit which I hadn't. I asked to pay which they said I couldn't even though I told them that my bank had not even received a direct debit application from the club never mind me cancelling it. They informed me I would have to go back down after the 9th of May to pay. Luckily I decided to phone them last week and after trying most of the day and being on hold for over 2 hours in total I managed to pay in full. I appreciate people turning up unprepared, but it might not be as simple as you have put it. There was over a thousand people there today, and 4 members of staff to deal with season card holders trying to sort out season card problems, home ticket problems and away ticket problems.
Oh absolutely. The club are still shocking in some areas off the pitch, mainly the ticket office. And there will definitely be cases of things not being straight forward.

Can guarantee there’ll be some numpties holding the line up unnecessarily though.

Them lasses will have worked their metaphorical bollocks off today.

As I was trying to say, whose fault is that? Its not the ticket office staff, its the bloke getting over £100k a year to sort it out, or not as it appears
 
This might have been mentioned in the thread already, but the system let me assign two tickets to non season card holders today. That shouldn't be possible in phase one should it?

I don’t even think the ticket office is that bad mate, compared to other areas. If we do however gain promotion things such as our pub kit deal, and our comms, are going to get a lot of attention.

Back in Dec, the club said the new kit would be out before the end of the season. It hasn’t happened 😂
 
Is the system down? I got my 3 today, just logged into each of the 3 accounts and activated them

As a regular user of the system for away tickets, I could see no obvious way to purchase a ticket for another ST holder, or assign one to them....Yet others say it was simple to do so?

It’s an effect of Donald that hopefully changes soon

I didn’t even look to complicate mine. I do have people in me network etc, just thought I’d keep it simple.
Im not the greatest with technology but all accounts are saved on my phone so it took 10 minutes instead of 5 if I was to do it through 1

Make no mistake, if we do get promoted the off the field stuff is going to come under a huge amount of scrutiny.

Ticketing (unless we get to a final) should be able to stay under the radar, but merchandise in particular could be embarrassing.

Drefus has been in charge 2 years now, things seemed fine under Donald, but have gone right downhill since ownership changed hands.
 
most on here aren't issues with the system, it's people not knowing how it works (assign or manage permissions) or people not understanding that their cards will be activated even though the emails says otherwise. it's an issue with the communication for sure, but not ticketmaster. hence why thousands have managed just fine.

Bought my season card seat in about two minutes yesterday, followed quickly by receipt of the confirmation email. But logging on here you could see people had genuine problems that appeared to be the ticketing system/website, folks could not add a card to make the payment and others were getting some generic error message that was possibly browser or cookie related, plenty clued up (IT wise) posters were giving ideas to help but nothing seemed to be working.

Not been on here today enough to see if/how issues were resolved or if the reason for those specific problems is now understood.

Be useful if any genuine glitches are identified and rectified asap.
