Ticket shambles today

Maybe

And what compensation will they be offering to season ticket holders involved in this sort of cock up??

Well???

It’s all very well saying “bring a hat and water while you queue up in the car park while we try to sort our mistakes”

Seems to me they owe an apology and compensation- how about free tickets for all FA Cup games for everybody effected by this amateurish nonsense?

I personally will be buying F All from the concourse and Shoppe until some compensation for those affected is implemented

It’s about time we stood up to these arrogant twats

As you say. Had a shit two hours at the match and if I've got another hour of queueing up ahead who is paying for that time?

Following on from my Black Cats Bar thread, the club is being run like a corner shop. Economy measures have continued under KLD it seems.

As I said maybe - but assuming it is not the season ticket holder who caused the problem what COMPENSATION is going to be paid

All very well cutting ticket operations back to the bone to make more coin but when things go wrong there should be a price to pay

Otherwise there will be no end to this amateurish operation

I agree, any service inside or outside of football is going to struggle when Human Resources are reduced….that’s no surprise
Although some supported the club running more leaner……….ultimately any cutbacks are invariably felt by the users of services

I work on a Saturday so doubtful id have time pre march.

Subsidised food and drink?

There was f***ing hell on at gate 9-10 with a few like

I wish I'd never fucked bothered tbh. Would have had a much better time up whitburn at the cricket enjoying myself, sun, drink and crack instead of paying to sit on me own pissed off knowing I've got hoops tomjumo through to sort it out. It's a f***ing disgrace like. Should have telt them to stick it up their arse
It was £4 for a large bottle of beer and a pie.

Should get a group action up to the small claims court for compo from the club for the inconvenience they put people through.

Dreyfuss is just another grifter with zero affinity for the club or its fans.

The RAWA need an EGM arranged with the club as a matter of urgency to sort this shit out like...ive been away for the first 2 weeks of the season so god knows if my season card works

Nice to know after the fact. Never got telt that despite about 5 or 6 stewards and supervisors and managers and high vised hangers on talking to us
They didn’t say it was. Just went at half time to get a beer and that and was like, this is cheap.

The club’s losses were NOT caused by wages in the Ticket Office, Shoppe or in the ground FFS

The mega losses were caused by insane decisions to waste millions on useless lumps like Grigg, Rodwell and Gibson

The season ticket holders stayed amazingly loyal as the disaster which followed unfolded - the least they can expect now is A+ service

Not cock up after cock up and being told to queue up in a car park in the hope of getting a ticket they could have paid over £400 for to work

FFS

As if I was going to spend a f***ing penny with them ***** after the shit they put us through, should have been free
It was a joke. Felt for the young lad on the door on the concourse doing his best. Completely thrown under the bus.

TBF they didn't say we should, they said we could queue up for the ticket office but advised us not to because the queues were so f***ing long.

Aye, the owld fella taking credit for 'the decision to open the premier concourse to accommodate us' as if he was doing us a f***ing favour less so.. honestly I'd have loved to see some windmilling. Totally deserved

<<<Undoubtedly, but when the players fucked up………its usually the regular admin types that faced redundancy….the footballers get paid off before signing another lucrative elsewhere

He was saying things like ‘if you’re not willing to do this then we can’t help you’. Wasn’t a case of a lack of will. It’s not as simple as just conceding and off you go. They said my dad could join me, but my dad asked the steward in the lower bowl and he didn’t know how to let him out of the stadium

Errors and mistakes happen, but that is pathetic. They made the mistake and they should be sorting it out.

At the very minimum they should be posting a new one out directly to you. I'd suggest it should come with a voucher for a beer or two in the stadium as well to compensate for your experience today.
This is it. In any other situation I'd be expecting just that, but I honestly don't think they care.

With absolutely anything else I wouldn't go back but they've got us by the short and curlys cause they know we always will.

Yeah my Guinness was £2 and I asked why and she said some friends and family promotion. Great business sense to incentivise your customers and don't tell them.

I know the statement on the SAFC website stated entry with Season Cards was being restricted in the South Stand to only those with cards for the South Stand. I didn't see anything mentioned that for the rest of the ground you can now only use the turn styles that are specifically printed on your season card.

I sit in the family zone and for years I've entered in the North Stand as they're are no queues and then walked along the side of the pitch as my daughter likes to watch the players warming up. Tried today and the cards wouldn't work and the Steward said you have to use the turn styles printed on the card. I was still there with enough time to queue and get in so no problems in the end.

Noticed a few people who had queued one door along and there's wouldn't work as that was classed as the East Stand and not the SEC.

I may be wrong but I'm sure this change wasn't specified in that press release on the website.

" If you're not willing to be shit on and say thank you then *shrugs* "

All tickets worked fine the first game.
Today my girls went in then mine wouldn’t work. Instead of letting me in the steward let my girls out the fire exit so their tickets would no longer work to get back in.
Told me to go to the ticket office but I refused and they eventually let all of us in.
Shambles.
Means a trip to the ticket office which I could do without.
Which will be a wasted trip as it'll be shut
