Ticket shambles today

I’m dreading this. Moved the bairns season ticket to the seat next to my brother after the renewals window this summer.

We weren’t there last week, but apparently the fella who sat next to my brother was there, and in the bairns new seat, and my brother saw him outside the ground today with a season card that didn’t seem to be working. I’ve now got the feeling this bloke still thinks this seat is his, and the bairns seat from last season has gone.

Again I thought this was going to happen at first game. Get yourself there early next game and sat in seat

How is it even possible to double sell seats? Absolute shambles. Never see any apologies from the club it just always seems to be a non negotiable solution like moving someone out of their correct seat to somewhere they didnt ask to be
Unintended consequence of electronic ticketing.

Someone can have a card that they think they have renewed but haven’t and another season card is sold for that seat, or an e ticket can be sold as a one off.

Worse case, a straight cock up where a seat is double sold

Bring back the books where you tear out a voucher for each game 😂

that's shocking that like, how can they move the people who've been there for 25 years to let people who've just turned up have them seats?!
Stewards told them, the lass and her grouo had rightful owners of seats. My mate n his group have been in touch woth club amd they said they have double booked..took money off BOTH grouos and my mate had to move cos of the error.🙈🙈 they have e-mailed club again, no reply in 2 weeks.

Lads behind us were saying about tickets being all over the shop.

Then the father and son who have their season cards there tipped up and these other lads were already allocated them for today

What a mess.

He was saying things like ‘if you’re not willing to do this then we can’t help you’. Wasn’t a case of a lack of will. It’s not as simple as just conceding and off you go. They said my dad could join me, but my dad asked the steward in the lower bowl and he didn’t know how to let him out of the stadium
It's cyclical bollocks now isn't it? It's like the Club have taken on the challenge of actively creating catch 22 for fans. Hope there isn't an emergency near that steward anytime soon.

Fuck me, sorry to hear this mate sounds like an absolute shambles. At risk of sounding like a broken record I'll mention this to RAWA as well because this ticketmaster move has been an absolute disgrace. If we could actually employ some staff we should be moving it back in house, they're dreadful
We should be……but they won’t.
Honestly I'm that pissed off I'd think about telling them to return any money and keep their f***ing card but I know I wont
I can say hand on heart that this would be my sentiment too…..I’m not the most patient of people and definitely throw the toys out the pram very easily.

Lad who i know, him and his mates had same seat in East stand for 25 yrs....went to his seat v Coventry...sits down n lass n few other came in and told him and mates to move as they were "sitting in their season ticket seats". They had double booked his and mates season tickets seats, took payments off them and new lass and mates to sit there. He had to move from his seat for 25yrs and let lass and mates sit there ..as that was there seats now. Now moved to north east corner. Absolute shambles.
This would be the absolute last straw for me and the club. Absolute joke - I’ve had the same seat since the SoL opened - if they fucked up and made me move that would be the end of my season ticket and I’d be getting a full refund

Is anyone actually surprised? Honeymoon period will soon be over for Kld regardless of where we are in the league very soon. It’s a f***ing joke

Should get a group action up to the small claims court for compo from the club for the inconvenience they put people through.

Dreyfuss is just another grifter with zero affinity for the club or its fans.
Without a doubt. Read the thread about the black cats bar and scrimping on meals for supporters who have paid a fortune for tickets.

He wants to be very careful.

I honestly think it's time the affected fans got The FSA involved. Fortunately, their HQ is in Sunderland (Ashmore Terrace) so it'd be easier to talk to them than the club.

With a season ticket in the south stand that worked last week, today it won't let me in so I'm told to go to turnstile 9-10. There is a bloke there letting people into the premier concourse in exchange for your season ticket. He had a plastic bag full of them.

They said my seat has been sold to someone else due to a duplicate ticket error on Ticketmaster and I need to queue at the ticket office before Norwich to get it sorted and get it back.

Just a heads up for anyone in the same boat. Even with the recent issues it is hard to believe how bad this stuff is at the minute.
Stadium has only been open 25 years, give them a chance.

They sent replacement season cards out for my kids last month. They were 11 and 13 last year and 12 and 14 this year, so no change in ticket type and all the other kids that go in our group did not get new tickets.

I took the younger one today for the first time this season. Her card didn't work. Sisters card didnt work. Fortunately had my dad's card which got her in.

All our seats are in the North stand. We weren't at the right turnstile for the tickets (North West corner) but that didn't stop the 2 adult tickets from working.

No f***ing way am I driving to Sunderland to queue up. They can fix it and send me the fixed cards, the muppets.
