Thoughts on Everton's new ground?

Was the men's bog situation easier on Sunday than it was in the cup game?
Definitely not.The "main bog" is truly baffling.Massis of space with the bare amount of trough space divided into separate pissers.
Same as upstairs so looks like whoever designed them didn't know the beer/piss ratio of footy fans!!
Still a topper ground though!!

The Tobacco warehouse is an absolutely huge building just next to the football stadium; it’s also very beautiful. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the conversion to flats will pan out. 👍
The smell might be a problem if you live there. I walked Bootle way after the game and there is a waste treatment works not far from the stadium as well as a number of other industrial areas creating their own stink. It was pretty vomit inducing at times

When we played them at home this season we asked a group of their fans what they think of the new ground and the first thing one of them said was "the toilets are f***ing shite".

Aye, that's what we were saying walking back to our coaches. We were in The Terrace before the game downstsirs and you could smell the stench flowing through the doors from outside and into the whole of the ground floor. Was bad like. We left after one drink.

Have a look online, phase one is completed, with most of the flats now sold and occupied, I’ve no idea when the second and third stages will be completed or when work starts on the smaller building in front of it even starts though.

I came home from Australia for this match and I was AWESTRUCK! it's bloody magnificent! I appreciate that there will be initial problems/complaints to sort out, but this IS our first season! Goodison (and Roker!) much loved but hardly the "Taj Mahal" This is the 21st century and footy grounds have to provide comfort and a good experience rather than simply be a venue!
It was hard to see us lose the way we did, but walking back along the Dock Road chatting with SAFC fans reminded me of how footy SHOULD be!

In the Bar Coast pub on the road leading up to the ground before the game. Nice place, friendly staff with no issues between Everton and SAFC fans as of course it should be. Great ground as has been said.

Ground is great mate 👍

I was upstairs for the cup match. Walked in & everybody’s standing looking confused at a long wall where they’ve stuck three separate urinals. Could have easily got 6/7 in there with a trough type thing.
I agree. We were downstairs on Sunday & it was the same there. A long, bog wall with about 6 individual urinals, when a dozen lads could have been accommodated at a long trough. Obviously designed by a lass - or a lad who's never been to a match, big concert or a test match ☹️.
