Struggles for England, goes back to Surrey and Solanki puts him on an off-stump guard, to stop him prodding outside off-stump.
Averages 60-odd in the CC and re-selected for England.
Thorpe & co put him back on middle stump guard.
Pope starts prodding at balls outside off-stump again.
