Sure it is. The most technically gifted batsman in the CC is struggling to adapt to test cricket and it's nothing to do with the central contract batting coaches.

e.g.:
Struggles for England, goes back to Surrey and Solanki puts him on an off-stump guard, to stop him prodding outside off-stump.
Averages 60-odd in the CC and re-selected for England.
Thorpe & co put him back on middle stump guard.
Pope starts prodding at balls outside off-stump again.

If you really think Ollie Pope batting on an off stump guard is a good thing then I cant really go any further

its his fault like, he is mentally up to test cricket right now
