I like Strauss. He was starting to be more relaxed in the comms box previously, I would not mind him coming back in there full time

plus he is voicing my england bat once mantra

I have to say I was bullish before this series pope would have no bother in continuing on from the winter. As he looked so natural and at home at this level

I think had we not had covid he'd have defs looked better, just lack of match practice taken him a few goes to get it right.

I don't care about tempting fate but I can see him getting another 2 tons this summer on top of this one he will get tomorrow morning.

Got a lot of stick on here as “head boy” when he was in his ECB role but always liked him as a player and he’s getting better as a commentator

Others more deserving of a chance, Sam Hain for instance, tom banton, Alex hales....
And yet they're all buggered because of who is in possession of positions.

Banton and Hales aren't moving Roy and Bairstow.

Hain at moving Root.

Morgan is the next real chance for someone to get in side otherwise we're shoehorning in someone at 5/6 who doesn't play there. As we've already done with Banton

If Vince plays IL flip my lid

Evening all, back after a 6 week ban for daring to suggest that black lives should matter more than the murdering scum that go around killing them.

Anyways aside from Johnson being a bellend as usual, what have I missed?
Cracking century from Bairstow in inter squad friendly

I read that the oval is going to be a test ground for letting in fans next week. Any idea of the numbers?
