I once swiped a wok off the hob and instinctively made a grab for it in mid air.
I caught it about 2 foot from the hob, the right way up, without spilling a thing. What’s more amazing is that I caught it entirely by the wooden handle and inexplicably avoided touching any part of the hot metal.
