I don’t rate Gordon as a player at allAs much as I rate Tonali and Gordon as players, I wouldn’t want them at my club as they seem poisonous, personality wise.
So Mr. intelligent, why did they allow the takeover?Bog off man ya daft sod
They??????This thread will get bumped to fuck when they finish ahead of us.
Ratboy off to the Scousers this summerI don’t rate Gordon as a player at all
Oh no, a state owned football club finishing higher than little Sunderland. This thread will get bumped to fuck when they finish ahead of us.

We've broken you twice this season, that will do for me bonny lad.
Watched a True Geordie video last night focused more on the dire state of their transfer dealings. Gist was that Pope, Schar, Burn, Trippier, Krafth & Willock are all OOC either this summer or next and Howe's allowed them to reach the point of no sell-on value well spending an average of £50M per player on replacements that are largely inadequate. And that's without factoring in the likes of Tonali, Gordon & the full backs who may ask to leave if the big boys come calling.
Upshot is that they have a huge squad rebuild on their hands, with a manager/recruitment setup that seems incapable of finding bargains and shrinking PSR/SCR wiggle room.

Ladbrokes.Any bets on where the Italian ends up?

My sentiments exactlyNot watching 11 mins of that rubbish.
Liverpool already took oneI think they need a fast start this summer, and move on players as quickly as possible. That'll work with Tonali, but the other likely wantaways (Liveramento, Gordon, Woltemade) will be focussed on the WC til July. And I suspect there'll also be a lot of noise about players who should be in the ECL - Bruno and Hall, maybe Thiaw too. They'll also have to swallow a massive loss on a few players - Woltemade, Wissa and that Greek keeper for sure, possibly Elanga and Osula too.
What they really need to do is accept that they're in a rebuild mode and sell to buy players who'll serve them for the next 5 years. What's more likely is that they'll repeat the mistakes of last summer and work under the delusion that they're a peer of Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U etc. and find themselves getting humiliated throughout the window.
If they start next season with Howe in charge, a couple of first teamers gone and a few others on the verge of going - and all without making any major additions - I think they could be in real trouble. Their squad is full of absolute dross, they're a so-so team that has been carried by some very good individuals. You could see them doing a Spurs in that instance.
That said, they could rake in £200m or so early by punting on 4 or 5 players and build a virtually new starting XI of decent young players. That's what they should do, but I'm not sure their egos would allow for it. Imagine the reaction if the likes of Man U and Liverpool take all their best players. How can you still pretend to be an elite club after that?
You are replying to a complete meltIt's about their aspiration to be best club in world though, not to finish one place above Sunderland. We get pelters from them for not being aspiring to anything greater than that while they're planning on world domination.
I don't believe that they're at risk of seeing point deductions anytime soon and they are still a solid top half squad but the fact is they're expecting a level of success that they're not currently set up for, on the pitch to a certain degree but miles away with the non-playing set up.
Fair enoughYou are replying to a complete melt
