If you are going to call the French cowards in 1940 you will have to call the British Expeditionary Force the same thing. They were outflanked and outfoxed by brilliant German blitzkrieg tactics. Look at how the Germans advanced deep into the Soviet Union......took about 6 Russian soldiers to defeat one German. Luckily the Russians had plenty of land to retreat into before they could eventually turn the tide.

the lancers at waterloo they finished off our cavalry after then charged the guns after seeing off the french main frontal attack

im sure if the great was was fought in weston supermare there would have been a few more english involved
