Scratter is a decent word - sort of onomatopoeic.
There’s a whole progression of terms I’ve only ever kown to be used on the SMB, and as far as insults go, most of them are shite.
The original term of abuse was ‘muppet’. Ooh I’m so offended. Then it became ‘hallway’. WTF is that supposed to mean? ‘Mouth breather’ was common for a while - is that such a crime? Do the SMB elite members only ever breathe through their noses? What about if they go scuba diving? ‘****’ was in vogue until there was consensus that this was no longer PC. ‘Melt’ enjoyed popularity but seems to be falling out of favour more recently. There are a couple of others I can’t think of right now but I doubt any would have anyone losing much sleep if they were thrown at you in mid SMB debate.
