The Sopranos

Janice is easily one of my favourite characters. She’s a much bigger character than a lot of people remember. Absolutely sublime actress

The 'big scene' in 'Knight In White Satin Armour' is just fantastic acting. The whole thing is just so understated and is what makes it so shocking. Also one of the reasons the Sopranos is so fantastic.

Watched it all tbf not as good as people make out imo mind meadow is worth a watch in the last series or 2 but very over rated again imo...and the ending is shite mind.

Was given the dvd box set a few years ago for a present. People tell me it’s just about the best series ever so I think it’s time to get stuck in ;)

The ending completely ruins what is a very good show.

It was a disgraceful ending for those who spent years watching it.

It's always compared to The Wire but The Wire is far superior IMO.

The ending is typical David Chase. A bit like the Pine Barrens episode when asked about whah happened to the Russian.

Chase " Who gives a &&&% about the Russian"

Great ending - engage the viewer - for gods sake we are still talking about it all these years later

GENIUS

The only reason anyone talks about the ending all these years later is because it is complete and utter bollocks.

An absolute cop-out from the writer and a disgrace for viewers who invested years watching it.

Arguably the worst ending of any highly rated show ever.

The Wire was right up there for 3 or 4 series but jumped the shark really badly with the McNulty nonsense in the last series and was barely watchable by the end.

They are both brilliant, but of all the shows you could use to highlight the shortcomings of the Sopranos ending, The Wire is a poor choice. Season 5 was an awful end to such a good series. The fake serial killer plot line was absurd.

The best thing about the ending is the not knowing the actual ending. Leaves it open to interpretations. Personally I think the door going and Tony looking up is him looking at the blokes who are about to kill him

Lost & Castle were pretty highly rated.
