I have heard the no lobby is raising funds for boffers guns is that right
Ha quite tempted to sabotage the flag as will be passing Shotton airfield on Sunday.

I wouldn't want to deprive the contributers their fun in the sun though

Won't be long before we see the "Short out" banner fly along the sky anarl.

 You can't be reading the thread then. There's loads against it. On top of that, the only poll we have has 150 votes and around 90 are against it (but you'll no doubt pass this off as irrelevant).

It's not even deniable.

You keep quoting that poll but seem incapable of grasping the idea that after all your moaning only 90 people have voted against the plane, almost double that donated for it to go ahead.

Yes mine too. Loved my Saturday treat of a tube, then at Christmas the giant tube from Santa, and maybe a birthday present of a box from an aunt or something. Different days! :)

I was just 2yrs 10 months old. My mam was in labour and my nana was looking after me. I knew there was a box in the bottom drawer of the sideboard, hidden under the tablecloth, and, when nana wasn't looking, I nicked it  Didn't half get wrong mind, that was going to be my treat to celebrate the arrival of my sibling:cry:

Can i make a suggestion that if the banner has FTM on it then it may not be shown on sky. They're not daft and will know what it means, they'll prob know by now that it's happening. Just a thought.

Wouldn't surprise me if one of the tiny tears has already e mailed sky tv to tell them that the plane idea at the weekend was nothing to do with them ,on account of them being real fans ffs ..bloody kill joys

If the fans chartering the plane don't give a fuck what the mags think, why get it to fly over their ground? Surely the whole point is they do give a fuck what they think, hence trying to wind them up.
That logic doesn't follow at all. When people have said "I don't care what the mags think" it's in reply to the people who say that the mags will take the piss out of us.
What they are meaning is that they don't care if the mags take the piss, as it's just harmless banter. Just as this plane is harmless banter. It's a funny joke, and that's it. No hidden agenda, no massive obsession with them up the road, just something funny that someone suggested and we all laughed at.

Exactly mate well said

It follows perfectly. People can't say they don't give a fuck what the mags think when arranging a plane in an attempt to wind them up. This action means they very much do give a fuck what they think.

An idea;

The plane goes ahead, but the banner reads 'Please consider donating money to charity.'

You said you've seen no evidence that no more than a handful of people are against the idea. The poll has 90 people, or well over half who have voted, against the idea. And opinion is very clearly split in here too.

I'm trying not to be patronising but I've no idea how you're continually struggling to grasp this really basic concept.

All the people for the idea are out shagging lass. All those against it are huddled over laptops in their mam's house.
