To be fair mate, I never wanted this in the first place and my wife works for St Oswalds hospice and that's my preferred charity and we donate to them. I would also point out as you have donated for the plane that you have also given NOTHING to charity. You have however potentially donated to a seriously embarrassing incident in the history of SAFC.
I have not got your name mate as I have not read the entire thread as to be brutally honest I am far too busy for that. If you say its out there then fair enough, at least you have that much decency and I respect that.
I still think those that have funded this should also say who they are. You cannot and should not organise something like this on the behest of Sunderland fans with such a small constituency. I honestly most decent Sunderland fans will think dimly of this and have a very heavy heart about it.
You were actually one of my favourite posters on here, but this is not what Sunderland fans are about mate. We are better than that and we are better than them. Don't prove me wrong.

It's completely irrelevant. Are you so precious that you'll only say something if there is no chance you might get some back? Would you be happier with the plane idea if we were in the top ten?
Of course I want the Saturday results next week to go our way but they aren't relevant to the plane. If we are relegated, that wouldn't make the plane any better or worse an idea.
I'd sooner be obsessed with the Mags (I don't think I am!) than share the fixation some on here seem to have that we mustn't do anything that doesn't show us to have more 'class' than them (whatever that means) . This is fun and is raising some money for charity. Why not just wind your neck in and live and let live?

As I said earlier many of them are happy to defend it on this thread so I also assume they would therefore be happy to let their families and their employers and also us their fellow Sunderland fans know who they are are. I would not be happy with the plane idea if we were Champions league winners 20 seasons running and they were in the the Wearside league as its a shit and childish idea that makes us look small time and obsessed.

If its such a bloody good idea than surely everyone would want to be associated with it and would happily reveal who they are in advance, so that when this thread goes gold they can be hailed as the chosen ones? Or in reality you all realise its a terrible idea and will just blame it on others when it inevitably gets mentioned in years to come?

You can't start a collection for something, raise the money quickly from over a hundred different donations, then cos a few faceless people on this board have got their knickers in a twist , decide that the money you have collected for a specific purpose is going to be spent on something else.

I was just pointing out it was getting personal for all the wrong reasons.
He got shit when the original thread kept converting the go fund me to go fraud me.
He got shit for deleting the original thread to try to rectify the problem.
He's now getting shit for sorting the problem and allowing posters to do what they wanted to do. And getting blamed as if the idea was his. It wasn't.
Like I said, I don't think it's a good idea at all, but the idea was never his responsibility.

Unless QPR beat Chelsea tomorrow we can't be in the bottom 3 prior to the fly past.
Neither Hull or QPR are playing next weekend and Leicester can't over take us. So only Burnley (and QPR) can draw level, they play Everton at Goodison.
