it's embarrassing and small time as fuck but the more that's said the more it's seemingly going to spur the stupid fuckers organising it on

might have been able to pass it off as light hearted 'banter' if we hadn't just capitulated at home (again). really does play up to the it doesn't matter what happens as long as we beat the mags mentality. hope you's are prepared for the years of piss taking this will lead to if we go down

I do get that some want to take the Mick out of the original Ashley protest. I also get that there was an issue with the original thread being spammed for some reason. I also get that you as a mod have taken on the fund raising.

BUT

I also have an opinion as a Sunderland fan. And that flying
a plane over nufc ground is just dead embarrassing.

More of us fans don't want this than do. So for that reason I'm asking that the money raised to really benefit Sunderland - give it towards some child charity locally.

If you are doing this as a group of Sunderland fans, than you have no right to speak or act for all of us, so just put your name up and at least we then know who you are for future reference. As someone who is actively organising something that many of your fellow Sunderland fans strongly disagree with, I think its only fair that you especially ( but also everyone who has contributed to this debacle) puts their head above the parapet and says who they are. You all seem so happy with it, so what's the problem?

I read some embarassing things on here in the handful of years I've been on, but this tops the lot by quite some distance.
 
I agree with Smoker.

How about we just have a sponsored Horse punching competition? That will show them and they will all immediately realise we are much better than them and start supporting Sunderland. We could invite look North to film it with a positive talk over by Dawn Thewlis. Imagine all the positive press and hilarity that would ensue as hundreds of Sunderland fans punched the fuck out of innocent equines?

I honestly think a few people have got far too close to this and need to go outside, take some deep breaths and think again. Its a hideous idea that will bring nothing but shame on SAFC so just drop it now please.

Some are quick to point out the players have a lack of backbone, that their performances are cowardly. I'll be damned if I don't have the courage of my convictions, fly the fookin plane. Show them relegation worries or not, we don't back down and we go the full 90 for banter and charity.

I'd be more embarrassed about people saying "where's your plane now?" after QPR. Grow a pair.

If Keith S30S is so confident in his position to organise and fund raise this, then is it really that unreasonable that I ask him to do so publicly and not anonymously?

Has he and those who are supporting it got something to hide or be ashamed of. I would have thought you would all want your names associated with this great day in the history of Sunderland football club? So what's the problem?
