No proof but seems likely, yesDid a sad, bitter, crying mag shop us?![]()
Are you saying you need the £960 for tomorrow when you contact the plane company?
as it looks like you are not going to get the fund money in time
We can but tryNo, I'll ring them tomorrow and ask when they would need the money prior to a flight on Sunday 19th April. It's probably going to be Thursday 16th before we have the original circa £600 given the funds are in the US.

We aim to get the above plane to fly over the 0-3 Arena on Sunday 19th April during the mags v Spurs game which is live on SKY from 4.00 PM. Any surplus funds will go to a Sunderland related charity.
We have already raised around £600 and need another £400 to make this happen, thanks![]()
Happy to make an up front payment if know it's coming back! That's fine but we've already raised almost 2/3 of the money so I'd like to have those funds in hand if possible. Fundme have been vague as to when we'll have acess to them, next Wednesday? The arseholes.
I have no idea what sort of lead time the plane people need? I'll approach them tomorrow but the clock is ticking now.
Happy to make an up front payment if know it's coming back!

I'm game, I love planes
Exactly,Anyone remember the 'Shearer' mags top on the Angel of the North ? (See link below) It was May 1998 and was done to celebrate their appearance in the FA Cup final versus Arsenal. History will also tell you that on May 13th we played Sheffield United at the SOL in our First division play off second leg. The shirt went on to be auctioned for £3000 and the proceeds donated to charity.
Why does all this matter ? I live in Newcastle, most of my friends are mags but I choose them carefully. They are not bigots or Sunderland haters but just loyal fans like us. They tell me I fight my corner well.
My best mate organised that Angel stunt and actually secured permission from Anthony Gormley for use of the Angel to avoid breaching intellectual copyright laws since the event was to be photographed. Indeed, funds raised from selling the rights to the photographs paid for the cup final tickets for the 10 involved.
Now, here's the rub.
The shirt was auctioned because the group feared it would be confiscated if they were caught trying to hoist it up over the West stand at the SOL prior to our playoff game. They cased the ground and had actually identified the anchor points before being disturbed by security.
This was what they were going to do, and why we must press ahead with our wheeze
