The Pep myth

I actually like their recruitment this season and thought that on top of Rodri back in would see them back challenging however I don’t think this Club World Cup is going to do any of the clubs featuring in it any favours in the long run fitness wise

With the players, squads and money spent in his managerial career if anything the blokes under achieved.

He’s never achieved at a club and with a squad that shouldn’t be winning, he’s a brilliant and very successful manager but he’s not at that GOAT level at all.

In this era there’s Ancelotti, arguably Luis Enrique that have had success more impressive than Peps
Ok, can you name 5 more successful managers please matey
Again for those at the back success wasnt the point of the statement …. But yes well done again for sticking to the point that he’s won a fair few titles

Should have won more …. Please answer that ?

You havent answered the question you've named 2 managers one that took over from pep at barca, pure waffle..
Some real whoppers on here man. The same ones'll be begging for Allardyce when we lose a couple of games
They're the people who were calling KDB overrated, clueless!

He’s quite clearly in the top 5 managers of the last 50 years, Luis Enrique has only won 4 league titles 2 champion leagues so not even close to what Pep has won, Ancelotti again a successful manager with a great record in the Champions League but only 6 League Titles and I’m pretty sure pretty much all successful managers have spent a lot of money.

Answer what, you never asked a question.

Is he decent, or a brilliant and very successful manager?

He's won

La Liga x3
Bundesliga x3
Premier League x6
Champions League x3

What a fraud he is.

Sounds great until you realise everything has won was with the best team in that League on paper.

His Barcelona CL winning team had:
- Messi (possibly best player ever)
- Dani Alves (one of the best RBs of all time)
- Puyol (one of best CBs of all time)
- Xavi (one of best CMs of all time)
- Iniesta (as above)
- David Villa
- Mascherano
- Busquets

Etc

All in their prime. I could have won La Liga
with that team ffs.

Good manager but massively overrated.

Missed the word ‘he’ sorry, it was meant to read ‘should he have won more?’ I do apologise !

Yet they finished 3rd the season before he took over?

Same can be said of all the other managers, could Klopp have won more?
I don’t know out of the last 6 seasons he’s won the league 4 times and it’s been close the only thing I think he could’ve won more in is the Champions League and FA Cup as they were beaten finalists.

You still haven’t named 5 better managers.
It is ok you know to admit at times that you’re not right 100%
