The Pep myth

Completely lost the plot, having a go at Henderson. He had 100 minutes for his team to score a goal, had the best striker in the world, one of the best playmakers and set them up completely wrong.

Fraud that bloke.
I don’t think he knows how to set a team up any differently does he? They alway play the same way, f***ing awful to watch, bores the tits of you & because he had a bit success with it everyone else is trying to copy it.

Is he though? Always had the best players, Barcelona were better after he went, did nothing out of the ordinary at Bayern (in fact those above didn't like his style), man city he spent fortunes to get the best players, now they've aged he hasn't replaced them. Look at the players he's let go. He's no Ferguson or ancelotti
I think in terms of style, he took what Cruyff and Michels had created at Ajax and took it on a level. But football is cyclical and people (me included) have got bored while rival teams have got wise.

Totally accept he hasn’t been given a shite squad of players too. Give him us when Grayson took over in 2017 😂

Persisted with Haaland who was sulking about and playing badly as usual.

I tell any of you the next time Sunderland have a manager that wins as many trophy's as this lad come and tell me about it. Like all the greats I.e. Fergurson, Wenger, when his teams are in transition they keep them in the higher end of the table. If City fuck up in the next 2 seasons you can then talk about his demise.

He's a good manager like.

You can't win everything otherwise it would all get boring ;)

Not allowed to lose ever and must win everything on a shoestring budget or you're shite, according to this place.
One of the most overrated managers ever !

Said it for years here

If anything he’s underachieved for the riches he’s had at his disposal over his clubs

Underachieved

It's whatever you prefer I suppose, personally Ive always preferred 95-00s man united, Real Madrid, Liverpool 2020 and now PSG , quick direct 100 mph football. Not a possession and passing championship

Well considering the champions league is the bread and butter for that level then yes he's under achieved. Could say Ferguson definitely did in that respect. Look at ancelotti he's won it how many times with how many clubs, he literally goes in to do win it

No plan B, same as Lampard 🤣

The amount of times Akanji got the ball wide left and passed back inside then back to him, then back inside 🙄 Even Doku f*cked around too much on the left.

The game was crying out for Grealish to be wide right getting the ball into Haaland at least more than the two or three times Haaland actually had chances.

Insane the amount of disrespect he gets because he’s ’always had money or the best players’

Started at Barca B where he took them up a level and would have had them in La Liga if the rules allowed it.

Binned off Deco, Ronaldinho and a few others to bring in previously unknown Busquets and Pedro etc to create perhaps the best team anyone’s ever seen.

Bayern fans still respect him as the best football they’ve ever played.

Untouchable regarding his Prem record, had one transition season and one where Liverpool had to get 100 points to beat him.

He’s arguably the best coach/manager of all time.

The money facade is ridiculous, the best teams usually spend the most. Ferguson spent £50m on Veron and Van Nistelrooy and didn’t win the league. Back when £50m was a big deal
