The nearest pub to us is six mins away but it’s then a minute from there to five others. I meet a marra at 5 on Friday after work and we do the lot…………….then I’m showered, fed and sound asleep in bed by 9. :( . He says he’s not but his Mrs reckons he is. Best way tbh as im fresh as a daisy next morning.
 
Had a few in Fitzies, Chaplin's and the Mortal Hound in Friday night. MH open later than most other places which is handy for nursing a pint for an hour and staggering home having drank only half.
 
Disappointed today like. The Freddy’s drop wasn’t great - not a patch on the fresh stuff in the taproom. Also, the Hazy shade of citra on the pump clip was the Vaux wheat beer. And I am not a fan of wheat beer at all :confused:

I had Freddys in there after the Rotherham game and it was fine mind. The can of Mortal Hound I got in Rehills recently however wasn't fine. Not a fan at all.

Got the wheat beer in my sub box. Not to my tastes, but that’s the reason I get the sun box, to make me try different gear.

Yeah, I’ve had it in there before and it was fine. Thing is, I was stood at the bar, and ordered it, and a lad next to me said, “it’s rotten that mind” and I told him it’s one of my favourites, and drink it in the tap room all the time. Sure enough pint turns up flat, and virtually all the taste in it gone. I made a point of telling the lad next to me it’s not usually like that at all. So then had a pint of Citra, that was the wheat beer.

Frustrating for Vaux as this might be people’s idea of what they’re like.
 
Stank in there last night. Also the freddies drop tasted off. Still drank it. Music choice was a bit odd. Good lil pub tho.
