How much have we made? You can't keep making a profit and hoping the budget signings do the goods. It will catch up. I'm not going to get sensible dialogue with you so I won't be bothering .
Spending money doesn’t just mean fees. Theres all the wages too and Premier League wages aren’t cheap. It looks to me like Ashley has got yous self sufficient and running to a pretty strict budget.

I find it staggering that so many mags whipped themselves into a frenzy revelling in the mess Ellis Short got our finances in, yet are going mental cos MA seems to be trying to avoid making a similar mistake.

If Benitez is as good a manager as is made out he should be able to keep that squad away from relegation no problem. So why should MA spend millions going after what 7th? Everton are spending 100s of millions and don’t look like cracking the top 6 anytime soon.

Have to be honest, I’m thinking our little change of ownership and their ways of doing things have heightened the mags frustrations . They, for the moment are two league above but are looking enviously at how things are getting done at safc, I have a wee wager on who will be the first mag to reply denying this.

Love it mate, seriously, a long time since have actually enjoyed following our team and every time we get some twat paid £30k to £40k off the books I am buzzin.

Will our team be amazing this year, who knows; but it will be full of honest, hard working lads who are here desperate to play for this club......We have owners who clearly are footballing blokes and who "get" that this is a club that is more than just about football, its about this community, this city and the people in it.

We have sold more season tickets this year than in the Championship despite every single one of our "stars" leaving (personally think that is a bonus)........For me, there is something bloody brilliant that we will be watching lads who are paid a bloody good wage (£4K a week) to play for this club rather than chancers and arseholes like Kone, Ndong, Papy, Rodders et al who just took the piss.

I know this will not be popular but I would rather we played in league 1 and Championship forever than return to the days when people like Rodwell took £70k a week out of our club or our fans pockets.

If we do end up back in the Prem then I want it on the Burnley model not the £50k a week for shite model.

Loving being an SAFC fan for the first time in many years, Haway the lads.

When Rafa goes, is the city of Newcastle going to be deserted completely, all following Rafa through the desert to the promised land.

He will part the north sea so all his flock can walk across to his new adventure.

Once they are across, he will let the sea return and walk across the top, obvs.

Then a meal will be provided, 5000 little fishys, on 5000 little dishys until the byoats come in

Spot on, its madness, Dyche took Burnley to Europe on pennies, everybody is playing for 7th and if you employ a so called world class manager then there is no reason why an average bunch of players should be getting relegated.

A few mags on Facebook mentioning the ignorance of Rafa towards Mitrovic
if they struggle and the striker's firing blank's we might just start to see some crack's in the love affair....that will be rafa's excuse to run,i think he can put up with FMA but shit from the jordies he wont,i still think he would appeal to top 6 club's in france, italy, spain bar barca,RM,juve and PSG,and there will be managers sacked from end of october onward's...
