Preseason, can’t to over the top. They really need some players in however, look a weak side- we may meet them in the championship at this rate.

Apart from laughing our tits off at yous being in the third division, aye lifes canny . Yous all said the same last year, we stayed up easily and yous were relegated to the third tier starting closer to Gateshead in the league than us.

Im fewming

Yet you still bring out banners outside sportsdirect, and address Mike Ashley in an open letter how you're one city against one man.

You're embarassing man

Love it mate, seriously, a long time since have actually enjoyed following our team and every time we get some twat paid £30k to £40k off the books I am buzzin.

Will our team be amazing this year, who knows; but it will be full of honest, hard working lads who are here desperate to play for this club......We have owners who clearly are footballing blokes and who "get" that this is a club that is more than just about football, its about this community, this city and the people in it.

We have sold more season tickets this year than in the Championship despite every single one of our "stars" leaving (personally think that is a bonus)........For me, there is something bloody brilliant that we will be watching lads who are paid a bloody good wage (£4K a week) to play for this club rather than chancers and arseholes like Kone, Ndong, Papy, Rodders et al who just took the piss.

I know this will not be popular but I would rather we played in league 1 and Championship forever than return to the days when people like Rodwell took £70k a week out of our club or our fans pockets.

If we do end up back in the Prem then I want it on the Burnley model not the £50k a week for shite model.

Loving being an SAFC fan for the first time in many years, Haway the lads.

Excellent post mate - ditto!

Finest post of this fine summer.

For the first time in years, football once again feels like an exciting diversion rather than a chore.
