No you lot are dense trying to argue about net spend stating Colback as a "free transfer" when he probably got a 4m signing on fee and 50k a week

You cant argue about net spend when you are clueless about how much you spent

Facts show you spend quite a bit on fees but its all Ashleys fault.

£4m  Give ower man.

You seemingly don't understand economic basics that my 6 year old daughter has no problem with.

Keep on posting your smiley faces though by all means.

I like how the Mag believes that Sheik Mansour measures his return on investment by tickets sold for an FA Cup semi final.

2 League titles, 1 FA cup, 2 league cups and a few Champions league runs, OK.

Revenues increased to c. £400m, the worlds 4th richest club by revenue, OK

Only 30 odd thousand there for the cup semi though, shit, sell the club, we should've bought Newcastle.

The delusional spanner brains

£4m  Give ower man.

Class you fell for it. So what did he get? Oh aye nobody knows yet you lot are trying to argue about net spend

Ba was also another high profile "free transfer"

So your trying to say free transfers cost clubs no money other than wages?

What was Jack Colback's transfer fee?

All players get a signing on fee. Free transfers obviously get a bigger one. He was, like any other out of contract player, a free transfer.

The facts are there.

Since the Ashley takeover, NUFC have spent £279.8m.
Since the Drumaville take over, Sunderland under Drumaville and Short ownership have spent £285.73m.

Nufc have recouped £257.1m. A net spend of £22.5m, or £2.25m per season on average.

Sunderland have recouped £125.275m, a net spend of £160.455m, or £14.5m per season.

In that time Newcastle have had 2 seasons in the championship.
Sunderland have had 1.

So we spent 6m more transforming a second tier side. You are disproving your point and dont even realise

The mags give thousands of free tickets every game........but that doesnt fit the agenda.

Man city even at their lowest ebb or the mags. No question.......city every time.
Think you're getting confused with Sunderland. Toon's gate receipts dwarf yours. More tickets sold and higher prices. Toon are first and third in list of all time second tier average attendances. Citeh and your lot are nowhere.

Yet clubs like Wigan & Swansea, with small attendences, have won things while Newcastle haven't won a current major trophy in over 60 years.

When did this hideous name come to light?

What have these great feats actually achieved? Has your amazing support gained you any honours?

They really have a hard time accepting how insignificant the north east is considered to the rest of the country. Though they try their hardest wheeling out professional Geordies on TV to remind the land how great they are.

Mags man, don't care about us but spend a hell of a lot of their precious time swarming all over a Sunderland forum.

Fuckin priceless, we are their world.

iirc Shiekh Mansours "second" team were keegans entertainers. Even in the UAE, He used to follow them because of their swashbuckling style, the hallowed turf, the famous number nine, because they are "the Barcelona of the north" and his love of byker grove........FACT
