"Widely reported"...by whom? Is there any real truth that the Man City owners wanted to buy the mags? Most rumours are generally made up wherever the mags are concerned and despite being total lies they become gospel and are referred to for years to come.

As if they'll be bothered if they don't sell out Wembley :lol:

Posted this before but I used to work for a company in Blyth and we were talking about the Arab when it was announced he was buying Man City when one of the owners came in the office and asked what we were talking about. We told her about the deal and she replied "Oh, I told him to buy Newcastle":eek:. Turned out that unbeknown to us she was a personal friend and often socialised with Mansoor when she was in our Dubai office. She later married one of his friends.

The mags give thousands of free tickets every game........but that doesnt fit the agenda.

Man city even at their lowest ebb or the mags. No question.......city every time.

When you put 2+2 together, makes sense... Man city owners looking to expand footprint in league, certainly they must be looking at theirs' and everyone's second favourite team, no??
