The Mag delusion

The thing with the Mags is they automatically think bigger crowds = better fans, until its pointed out that other clubs get higher crowds than them, then it suddenly doesn't anymore

What if they were obsessed with major trophies lol

you've never worked with a Man City fan have you
Worked with loads, still doesn't tell me why a 'sunderland' fan would remember a specific attendance against a specific club when it's of no significance to us.

embarrassing really their story telling, any Arab money will look at any club in the premiership and what infrastructure is there, can they develop a training facility? Do they need to do anything to the ground or can they develop etc is the club readily available to buy etc etc
Man City were perfect at the time, needed a new training ground which they could develop a few hundred yards away where it is now which they could also get funding from the European unions and some (various) sponsors along the way to develop the community which they do, the ground has no issues if developments they want to expand which they have. Also a major thing is Manchester is a well known area and huge infrastructure and money! Its a no brainer when they wanted to buy it was a good and feasible area to develop into.
Mags wise...can they develop ground....I don't think they could now...training ground is further away and cannot be near to the training facility like Man citys etc theres a lot of pro's and con's but reading that article is a non starter. Whether they were interested or not makes no difference they didn't bid, they didn't enquire they saw what they wanted and went for it

If you've worked with loads you'll know where I'm coming from.
Not a clue, good down to earth lads.

Still doesn't explain why you would know specifics about their attendance and opposition.

I'm sure this is not the first time you've brought it up either, strange a 'Sunderland' fan having a dig at Man City on a thread about deluded mags.

Posted this before but I used to work for a company in Blyth and we were talking about the Arab when it was announced he was buying Man City when one of the owners came in the office and asked what we were talking about. We told her about the deal and she replied "Oh, I told him to buy Newcastle". Turned out that unbeknown to us she was a personal friend and often socialised with Mansoor when she was in our Dubai office. She later married one of his friends.

Thank fuck he never took her advice.

Can you imagine man? Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Behind Gallowgate is the only place where we can expand but that's up in the air at the minute with some saying the land has been sold off with conditions to allow for an expansion and some saying that the condition isn't in.

A rare breed.
Generally gobshites who spoke about nothing but what loyal fans they were before the Middle East money came their way.
The only away fans who's first chant is WWYWYWS.

Im sure I read a while ago regarding this and was an issue with buildings around there and the council also? Wasn't sure exactly on the criteria which was preventing this mind...
