The London thread

The Laughing Gravy? Lovely little restaurant, great feel, cosy, amazing food, cracking wine. Never has a bad meal there. The kind of place I can sit and take hours and a decent bottle of wine over.

Has Greenwich got a decent Xmas market?
Not exactly cheap at the Laughing Gravy, but you get what you pay for. Good quality food, canny wine and only £30 a bottle more than Tescos!

It’s me birthday Dougal, I’m worth it. ;)

Are you lot open on Wednesdays btw? Might pop in given I’ll be down that way.
You're definitely worth it! Birthday or because there's a 'y' in the day :)

Afraid we don't open Wednesdays unless there's a pool match! Which is not that often I'm afraid!

I’ve only just realised you weren’t joking.

Totally gutted about this. Best restaurant in London, been going for the past 11 years. Owner blamed covid and Brexit. 🤬

Would have been a canny shit joke even for me. I never went. Was on the ‘to do’ list. Same as the Ledbury and that went the journey an’all.
