The Hundred - Free tickets

Some of the teams are awful, not sure if that's because of overseas players being unavailable. But a lot of average foreigners playing, like the end of the Big Bash after they extended it.
London spirit in particular just look like a really average team, they must have been hit by some withdrawals as I can't imagine that team ever been picked in a draft

Eoin Morgan backing Northern Superchargers for the salty snack league after the game tonight. Shame they’ve already been eliminated

If one of the tournament’s biggest cheerleaders isn’t even paying attention why should we?
Get with it Grandad, didn't you get the pink and green flashing memo? The 16.4 has eschewed the traditional concept of the top teams qualifying for the later stages. Only the teams finishing in the pack qualify. The team finishing 2nd play the team finishing 4th in the women's competition at Blackhall, Sunday week. The game will be broadcast live on Radio 1 extra and the umpires will be Rita Chakrabati and Richard Ayoade. The game will be played backwards with a ball painted in LGBT colours. The game will be tied in order not to offend anyone. Tickets £20 to include vegan pie and pea supper and a knee trembler round the back of the portakabin.

WTF? They are allowed to call up probably the most form white ball bat in the country, just for the finals?

Sorry like, this competition is a joke.
I agree and disagree.

I think it’s ridiculous top top players are called up for any team in latter stages of tournaments but it’s not exclusive to the hundred in anyway.

Ben Stokes no less once played for a NEPL team in a club T20 semi final when he had not played in earlier rounds which I thought was absolutely ridiculous at the time

Day before the final, it's a joke.

Why don't the other side give Virat, Pant and Rushy a call? Few quid in the back pocket for couple of hours work. Cushty.

Ben Stokes and Marcus North turning out in the NEPL might be the same principle, but it's hardly as big a deal.
