London Spirit have a really weak lineup compared to the other teams. The ECB bollocksed that up.

It’s pretty much mirroring how the counties from each venue tend to go in the Blast.

Lords based team-shite, Headingley-shite, Trent Bridge-decent, Birmingham, Oval and Manchester- not bad
 
Are Thursday nights a big thing in London? Surrey and Middlesex seem to schedule their T20s for then as well to catch the drinking crowd.
 
I've never really got into 20:20. Just a slog fest. Didn't have any interest whatsoever in this tournament leading up to it.

Have watched a few games as not much else on. I really like it. :lol: Its entertaining. Times of games spot on. Just a bit of fun and an easy watch.
 
Anyone know if you can buy Hundred tickets anywhere other than the official site for Headingley tomorrow ?

Been checking the weather all week and now it looks ok thought I’d take the kids down only to log on and find out it’s sold out 😩😩

Just the official site. Was thinking about caving in to curiosity but not at those prices.
 
Don’t believe the hype……

Kevin Pietersen claimed he had never seen a crowd for a county game like the one for last Saturday’s clash at Leeds – an attendance of 10,324 compared with the 16,647 who went to the Yorkshire v Lancashire T20 clash at the same venue in 2019.

With the weather we’ve had today it will probably be a repeat of the Roses match a few weeks ago. Or they might make more of an effort to get this one on :rolleyes:

He’s obviously a bullshit merchant, the crowds have been average at best. He’d be on safer ground quoting TV figures.

It’s a peculiar one with the Hundred as it seems to be appealing to TV audiences but that’s not translating to bums on seats. This is where the lack of regional affinity may be a problem. The ‘product’ doesn’t look great in front of a third full stadium.

Seems to have disappeared off the BBC recently like. Can’t remember any of the recent games being on there, I’m guessing it’ll be on free TV this weekend? I doubt it’s anywhere near as popular when it’s only on SKY. Probably just normal T20 viewing figures I would guess.
