That suffers from having no Aussie international players in it and far far too many teams, so nobody knows what’s going on.Aye this I think. It may well follow the same trajectory as the Aussie Big Bash. That got really big for a couple of years then slowly reverted to just another spectator sports competition in a saturated market and attendances dropped away
Not too dissimilar then. 8 teams in the hundred, same as the big bash, and most of the England players off to the Test side nowThat suffers from having no Aussie international players in it and far far too many teams, so nobody knows what’s going on.
To build a successful franchise they need to have the best of the best in your league.
I also would like to see players stick to a single team. It would be interesting to see players only be allowed to be drafted once. Then teams would have to trade/ buy players from other teams. That adds drama imo.
Wouldn’t say the BBL has too many teams. 1 in each big city then 2 in Sydney and Melbourne. Works perfectly! That suffers from having no Aussie international players in it and far far too many teams, so nobody knows what’s going on.

Can't blame him for re-bowling that ball.Stokes coming in for some deserved criticism for his captaincy last night. In addition to fiercely insisting a single was rebowled (which was promptly plastered for six) why didn't he bowl out the spinners given they were having much more success than his seamers and Hales is weak to spin?

Wasn’t the next ball the one he dropped for 6? Nearly workedIt went for a single which was almost as good as a dot ball for Superchargers at that point in the game.

Interest did wane from its heyday but average attendances are still around 20k per game, paying customers.Aye this I think. It may well follow the same trajectory as the Aussie Big Bash.
