I’ve given up officially now. My observations

1) franchise cricket is bullshit. I struggle with the IPL but this is way worse
2) the impact on counties is pathetic
3) changing the balls per over is just absurd
4) it’s ridiculously tacky
5) the one saving grace will be the positive impact on the women’s game

1) I don't like it but it was inevitably going to happen.
2) A lot more could have been done to support the county game in some way.

4) Gold pads on Moeen Ali, say no more.

I like the cut off time, potentially. Also, in this form of the game, crossing being irrelevant when caught, the new batsman must face the next ball. Wouldn't want that in the first class game, or even 50 over, though.

Lasted about 2 hrs 45. About the same as a Blast game
