The Hundred 2023

How come the Northern Diamonds women team play at Headingley + The Riverside, but the Northern Superchargers don’t?
Because Superchargers are the Leeds franchise, not a combined Yorkshire/Durham (though mainly Yorkshire) venture like the Diamonds. The Hundred is only played at the eight home grounds.

That’s my point. They‘re both named ‘Northern’ yet the Superchargers play 90 minutes away from us

Wow that much???

So more than Premier League Football for Sky games apart from big 6 games that get around 500k. Average is 80k.

485k for BBC wow that's more than Test Cricket on sky by 435k.

Shows how popular it is then.
Domestic t20 gets 129k on sky.

County championship is around 17k on sky. Hence why no coverage.

One day cup was 29k for last year's final.

So your bigging it up big time my friend compared to county cricket my friend.

Amazing figures.
Which terrestrial free to air TV station is the county cricket on mate? I know I would watch it so keen to know which station is showing it. Can't believe I missed it really.

Phone Chargers have 5 Durham players in their squad.

Only Carse has been picked to play tonight. No Potts, DeLeede or Ollie Robinson.

I expected Stokes to be rested but if they're not playing the rest can we have them back for the One Day Cup.

It's not helping any of them being drinks carriers for this.

This fixture used to regularly sell out when scheduled properly in the Blast
And of course doesn’t do that either any more as that competition is also effectively downgraded by the existence of this one.

That was foreseeable. Exactly what happened when they invented regional franchises in Welsh rugby. No one goes to the club game anymore. But they don’t do the regional stuff either except when they can pretend it’s Swansea v Llanelli still.
