Tbf mate, Buttler was the best player in the tournament for me and it was mainly down to him Manchester were in the final in the first placeWhat a brilliant tournament it’s been this year.
Shame Buttler went after it a bit too soon, could have done with a tighter ending.
Invincibles thoroughly deserved to win the tournament, they’ve been brilliant.
Tom Curran looking much improved with both bat and ball
He definitely papered over the weaknesses, they definitely weren’t the second best team, but as you say, they had the best player. Their bowling was minging at times.Tbf mate, Buttler was the best player in the tournament for me and it was mainly down to him Manchester were in the final in the first place
Enjoyed the tournament a lot but I’m ready for the England games nowOval are the champs

Wednesday live from our own CLSEnjoyed the tournament a lot but I’m ready for the England games now
No chance of forgetting thatNow we can get back to the county season. In case anyone has forgotten we have a division to win.
England T20s coming up as well.
At the end of the day, it’s cricket on tele. Even if you are not for it, why deprive yourself of the entertainment from the greatest sport in the world?Nice to see posters who were told not to watch it and posters who didn't like the hundred at first are now fully on board
They didn’t invent it though. They were the first to endorse a domestic tournament at List A level but Martin Crowe already had something going in NZ, and anyway 120 ball formats, either 20x6 or 15x8, had been standard evening formats round these parts since Adam was a lad. I was playing both 40 years ago.And to think what could have happened if the ECB patented the T20 format.
It’s been a great summer tbh the blast was a great tournament and the best team in the competition who won an amazing 12 out of 14 league games Somerset were worthy winners on finals day.
This tournament has been a great watch as well with the group winners winning the tournament again worthy winners.
The Ashes was an absolutely magnificent series and brilliant entertainment, from the very first ball when Crawley hit that four and but for rain we would have won the Ashes back, be playing a brand of entertaining and positive cricket never seen before in test cricket.
All in all been some brilliant cricket on show and superb entertainment!!
Although you would not think soo at times reading some the threads on the ashes and other threads on the cricket board the amount of twisting and negativity on here.
We currently have a brilliant test team that has been completely turned around the last 18 months and are currently 50 over and 20 over world champions!!
What a time to be a cricket supporter in this country!!
Never seen anything even remotely close in the 40 years of watching cricket to the entertainment this game is providing in this country at the moment
Ahhh back to watching the grass grow. Start your own thread for the over 70s that care. Now we can get back to the county season. In case anyone has forgotten we have a division to win.
England T20s coming up as well.
Why don't you start a thread with a poll to see who likes it and who doesn't?Nice to see posters who were told not to watch it and posters who didn't like the hundred at first are now fully on board
Yeah that is really good as well, especially considering where they were just a couple of seasons ago.Fair enough on most of your comments but you haven't mentioned the fact that Durham are currently flying at the top of Division 2.
Are you still a fan of First Class domestic (aka Red Ball)?
