The Hundred 2023

The conversation was about the other test grounds being in city’s

No, it wasn’t, someone tried to make the point that all the grounds being used were where the population was biggest.

I rightly pointed out that it wasn’t down to population at all. It is actually the fact that they’re all Test venues.

Go back to the beginning and you’ll see that. Like Chinese whispers you’ve combined two elements of the argument, put two and two together and ended up with 37.
Rossington another SIX

Stone? Or pies?

Im Assuming that wasn’t with any kids in tow then, so you either don’t have any or they are old enough to leave, then I’d suggest the hundred isn’t really aimed at you anyway,

but not sure why you can’t let those who do enjoy it do so in peace without the constant comments, the laughing at games being called off is pathetic, there will be kids who will have been looking forward to going to this for weeks
You didn't mention kids but as you mention kids we take our now 15 year old nephew to watch Durham and have spent many hours in shit weather waiting for cricket. So in answer to your question yes I've sat for hours in rain by myself, with my wife and also with the nephew. Why?... Because we love Durham. This rubbish is destroying the county game. It's not needed, it's bankrupting cricket and it's an absolute farce. Southern Crisps Vs Northern Hula Hoops, haway man it's absolutely shite. I've got absolutely no sympathy for anyone attending and it pisses it down, they're contributing to the downfall of cricket in this country.

If you want to ‘enjoy it in peace’ log off and do so. It’s quite straightforward.

Absolute nonsense Chester le street is very acaccessible
Hmm I'd disagree on that tbh, not by public transport anyway. I'd love to visit more often for internationals but TB, OT and even Edgbaston are far easier for me, even though they're a similar distance away. But then I suppose it's a lot easier than those three for those that drive

‘ I have been watching on the telly and looks great would love to go in the school holidays’

‘ No son I not taking you there as the match tonight destroying the county game’:D

"But I'll take you to a T20 at Chester-le -Street; it's far too expensive to travel 70 miles to Leeds and also we'd get back too late. You've got school tomorrow" .

Are you both saying you would ok with a team in the hundred based at Chester-le-Street in the future for kids to go too??

As that kind of goes against what you have saying
