It’s like Paul just said, comes down to confidence, if your confidence takes a battering then it just makes it harder. Been there myself when baking, just needs a little bit of self doubt and your bake can go pear shaped.

Yeah, Rahul's basically flown through all the way, as did Dan to some extent. One bad bake, confidence gone (and the technical is a lot about confidence) and you're battling.

I was doing some baking one Christmas Eve, baking a cake, chocolate yule log and Christmas biscuits. Because I thought I hadn’t left myself enough time, started to panic and rush.
