Gillian Anderson as Thatcher is just wrong like. Don't get me wrong, she's very good, but I'm a man of a certain vintage and this casting scars me mentally.

Was worried they uligise Diana. It appears they did a bit but they also showed that she was courting the media early on and loved the thought of elevation to Queen. Some love to think of her as a saint. She wasn;t she was a human being. Had her faults as much as the rest of us imo.

yeah watched it last night, it was excellent. Have never watched the crown before this series, just never had any interest really. This series starts when I was 3 years old so I remember most of the stuff. Its really great stuff.

Have the first four episodes of series 4 watched and does appear to be better so far than series 3. Apparently The Palace aren't very happy about episode one on the exchange between Phillip and Charles just after Mountbatten's death.
