Love all of them, but Bourton is busy.Been to Stow on The Wold, Moreton In Marsh, Broadway, Chipping Campden and Bourton On The Water and would recommend them all.
As already mentioned the latter gets really busy but nowt like sitting dangling your feet in the Windrush on a hot day while feeding the ducks.

I'm off to Burford in a couple of weeks for a weekend. It's the gateway to the CotswoldsBrother lives in Burford.. the Thames is nice and quaint that far up
Lower Slaughter is lovely.if bourton is rammed....and it will be, the slaughters and the rissingtons are canny but with a lot less going on and only a couple of miles away
Been to Bouton many many times one of the nicest visits was early evening in the winter with snow on the ground
OnStow in the Wold is a good base to explore from.
