Is this about the interview Methven did in The Mail this morning? He's claim SD has the money to run the club.
He claims we should have new owners this summer. It would have been this month except for the Covid19 outbreak.

Mags getting takenover seems to be the latest, even Caulkin (who is probably the only journo in the N/E worth his salt, reporting it's close)

Caulkin no longer works for a newspaper, he works for that independant sports agency that actually requires a subscription called 'The Athletic' - hoping it's bollocks like.

I believe Caulkin does know Amanda Staveley and says it’s been worked on for over a year but failed on 3 occasions. The reason for the latest report is that documents have been sent to the premier league and he reports it’s the closest it’s been because of the circumstances with Covid19 and his share price falling making him more likely to sell, however it’s also been reported by media through the club that he hasn’t seen any money on the table as yet and there are doubts that Ashley being Ashley will drop the price. That is what the buyers are hoping.
