He wasn’t in the sodding army.
He wasn’t in the Wehrmacht. He wasn’t in the Heer, Luftwaffe or Kreigsmarine.
He was in the SS.
And? Did they allow resignations during the war?

Seriously?
What about a cook in the army? Are they also complicit? Or a Batman?
In wars people are ordered to do bad things that they would never normally do. Should we round up the last of the Dresden bombers or Dambusters and put them on trial for crimes against humanity or is it only the gas chambers that count as being beyond the pale?
When does peace and reconciliation start?
Don’t be silly. He did request a transfer and was refused. He was under military discipline do you really think that he could have resigned in the middle of a war? In the same circumstances, the vast majority of people would have done exactly what he did, do as he was told and keep his head down. I know that I would have irrespective of what my personal opinions were, but I guess this will bring out the virtue signallers in force. Try being honest and tell me, what would you have done?
Well now he is dead he cannot face his sentence for his crimes so there's nothing for them to back off from? Or do you think they will ask for his dead body to be thrown in a cell or something? At least he didn’t have to serve his prison sentence. I always believed that he was being made a scapegoat for stuff that was beyond his power to change. Maybe now that he’s dead the people responsible for taking him to court will back off and recognise the time has passed for vengeance.
It didn’t even happen. Was invented by the liberals to prevent us owning gunsNow I really have seen it all on this forum.

Or are you now asking that they do not pursue other living nazi war criminals?
Now I really have seen it all on this forum.
Unbelievable
Is it?
I do think we need to ask why a 90-year-old man was sentenced to prison for genocide that there's no proof he actively participated in. Actively as in actually killed someone. Yes, he contributed to the running of the camp, doubtless.
How free he was to leave his position, I do not know, but he did not shy away from what happened there, even well before he was arrested.
Part of me does think that he was targeted harder because he was one of few left and the prosecutor just wanted a win.
This isn't, before anyone accuses me, some kind of sympathy or justification for genocide or Nazi ideology.
You should get yourself onto the politics section of the board. Now I really have seen it all on this forum.
War criminals should be tried.
End of.

The fact that you just said that to me, one of the most frequent posters on there, definitely means you keep clear of it
War criminals should be tried.

Do they still pursue living nazi war criminals..can't be many if any still knocking about.??
As Frijj says, define war criminals.
Okay, we will start with Bomber Harris, responsible for the bombing of civilians in Dresden. Or Churchill. We could maybe bring in Tony Blair who lied to get us into another war.
We could even start with the British in the First World War. Forgotten: Britain’s civilian mass prison camps from World War I
I only wanted to know if nazi war criminals were still being pursued..bearing in mind how old any remaining ones must be.
