The booing at full time

I didn’t boo.

What I found embarrassing was people applauding at the end though, what the fuck did people see out there that deserved applause??

I do find that bizarre, some folk would clap Harold Shipman if he put a red and white shirt on
To be fair, as hapless as we seem under Jack Ross, booing a team off after one game is exactly what I’d expect of the mags, or someone like West Ham. Horrible poisonous fickle fans.

Fuck off

How could we keep Maja when he wanted to go? Incidentally he didn’t set France alight and was injured for a substantial amount of time when he left. He did nothing to suggest he would have got us promoted.

Eh

He had 16 goals man. Whether he wanted to leave or stay, to say he did nothing to suggest he would have got us promoted is laughable when you look at his goalscoring record before he left us.

Fickle fans? The same fans who watched the team fail to get promotion last season with some awful performances and who turned out in great numbers to watch a performance that showed nothing has changed. Same old shite

Pretty sure some of it was directed towards the totally incompetent officials. Impossible for the players to know that like and I don’t agree with the booing at all but can also understand the frustration.

For the manager to say we need to drop the draw specialist tag and then draw 1-1 again...it was nailed on really wasn’t it.

I have never booed our team but yesterday wasn't good enough, especially from the manager who wasn't positive enough and allowed the game to slide when we were very poor for at least an hour.

I don't see any evidence that Ross has learnt from last season which is a major disappointment. The sack is coming if he doesn't change.

Not something I ever partake in, even if booing the manager was the idea it comes across as booing the lads on the park which ends up counter productive imo. The last thing we need is to pile more pressure on the players.

Such an immature thing to do. Booing ffs
How else would you show that you're not happy at what you saw?

Shout a conversation in full unison?

I'd like to hear your suggestions, or were you too busy 👏
simple answer for you. if you think youre paying money to watch shite. Stop going.

I watched the whole game today and saw plenty of effort.
You're obviously one of those who will accept mediocrity.

Well done on not being ambitious

Of course you do...however doesnt mean its okay. Doesnt help the team. Its the 1st game of the season and half of them are new players ffs.

Its not good enough but give the management a cgance to do something sbout it. Fiirst game of seasin alsorts happens

He’s had 47 league games now, 10 cup games and 3 playoff matches. How much more of a chance do you want to give him?
Better than the loss ratio in the 46 games prior to that?

Technically, the only comparable loss ratio is the last time we were in this division. In which case I think it’s a worse loss ratio than that year as well

Last season I'd have agreed. But this season started today. What we did last year or a few years ago is irrelevant.

The season started today, we got a draw. Not the end of the world and if we are there or thereabouts (as i expect) in the new year it will be forgotten. But we have no right to expect to win every game based on the fact we have a good crowd and nice stadium.

Leave that attitude to them up the road
Why do you feel the need to compare us with the mags? Wtf has that got to do with anything, are you that self conscious ffs?
Was on sky sports saying our fans help the opposition.

This is our fans attitude. We are shite.
If blaming the fans helps with your wumming, well done.

You're on a winner here

The new formation just encourages the negative play, and makes it even easier for the lads to slip into a defensive mentality. Wait until we go ahead in a game and we’ll see them defending for their live almost instantly.
Disappointed with the booing and thought the wolf whistling at the Oxford physio was pathetic.

I agree with the second bit. Rather unnecessary and not something I’d like to see at the game, especially when my 6 year old girl asks why everyone’s whistling. Had to blame the referee for being useless and them wanting him to blow his whistle for a free kick

That needs to stop.

It doesn’t help anything.

We will get better as the team gels & the season goes on.

Once the referee has blown for full time, the reaction of the crowd will not influence the result. On that display, which screamed "more of the same from last year", the players and owners are bloody lucky the booing didn't start much earlier.
