All of our goals were very good so definitely positives. No shame in losing to a top side like Villa. Just have to defend better in the remaining games.

Piss poor postDisagree that it was a world class save. All he had to do was lift his hand up.
It was a piss poor attempt from a piss poor player.
Not sure he did/could have seen Talbi?Or knocking it sideways to Talbi who would have rolled it into an empty net
Read what I said - he has one of the best saves in history to his name. One on one in the world cup final:Possibly one of the best saves he's ever made? Come on, he just stood his ground
Ahh apologies, my mistake if I mis read it.Read what I said - he has one of the best saves in history to his name. One on one in the world cup final:

People fall into the trap of thinking
Save = bad finish
Finish = poor goalkeeping
Exactly. They were excellent up top, clearly still buzzing after demolishing Bologna.All of our goals were very good so definitely positives. No shame in losing to a top side like Villa. Just have to defend better in the remaining games.
World class save from one of the World's one on one keeper, me ganny would of put that chance past him.3 excellent goals from 3 different players in a season where goals have been our biggest problem.
With our first team CB partnership, we win that game today.
Very unlucky that Diarra didn’t score also, he did everything right but it was a world class save from one of the world’s best one on one keepers.
Rigg’s goal was world class, the touch and finish. If he carries on playing with this kind of confidence it’ll be like a new signing.
Even if he did, I think Martinez going Talbi’s was forced a Diarra to take on the shot. Class goalkeeping, poor finish. Shit happens. He made the chance by breaking the lines perfectly, confident he scores the next one.Not sure he did/could have seen Talbi?
Far too sensible for some of the fuckwits on here…..Even if he did, I think Martinez going Talbi’s was forced a Diarra to take on the shot. Class goalkeeping, poor finish. Shit happens. He made the chance by breaking the lines perfectly, confident he scores the next one.
Not world class but a good save from a top keeper. Not much room for errorWorld class save from one of the World's one on one keeper, me ganny would of put that chance past him.
It’s a shame it wasn’t passed to Talbi either.Just a shame Wilson wasn’t on the end of the Diarra chance
He should have scored. When you make the decision to chip the keeper and it doesn’t come off your gonna get stick. We shouldn’t have lost. Balls into the box were our Achilles heel all day. Draw it and Diarra’s miss is forgot about.Even if he did, I think Martinez going Talbi’s was forced a Diarra to take on the shot. Class goalkeeping, poor finish. Shit happens. Agree more with that, he stood his ground, put some doubt in Diarra head, the save itself after that was pretty routineFar too sensible for some of the fuckwits on here…..
Not world class but a good save from a top keeper. Not much room for error
Just a poor finish, it needed more pace and loft - but incredible goalkeeping. Done everything else perfectly well. “Just smash the fkr” or “lace the cnt” is what I’ve read, which would have resulted in the same result due to Martinez being an excellent GK.People completely missing the fact Diarra feinted to go bottom right, sent Martinez one way then dinked it the other way, only for Martinez to somehow adjust his balance to make a fingertip save.
That’s freak of nature goalkeeping.
Looks easy from a sofa. The angle is no where near as favourable in reality.
Pretty routineAgree more with that, he stood his ground, put some doubt in Diarra head, the save itself after that was pretty routine
He scored have scored, not disputing that. But the level of stick he’s getting is absolutely ridiculous - mainly because the defence didn’t do their job too 30 seconds later.He should have scored. Like I say the save itself was routine it was, 99 times out of a 100 every single orem keeper saves that in training. He chose to stand his ground, and didn't panic, fair play, but certainly wasn't world classJust a poor finish, it needed more pace and loft - but incredible goalkeeping. Wonder if he did just lash the fkr if everyone would still be on his back?
Pretty routinehaway, it was a good save at a pivotal moment. He forced Diarra’s hand and it was all round exceptional goalkeeping
Wilson is great coming off the bench when games are stretched. He just won’t want that role so is unhappy. Shame as he is great at that.Isidor showing given the correct service will score 9 times out of 10.
Didn’t say it was. But it wasn’t routine. Lots of keepers go early on that. He didn’t. He waited and waited. He forced the next action by holding firm. That’s world class. The save was excellent after, the all round goalkeeping was world class.
