This is not a discussion about the best place to live - the answer is, in fact, Stroud.

Spelt London wrong there, mate.
Huge rises in prices so far this year with lots moving down from the cities. I read something yesterday that there’s a cottage < 9ft across for sale in padstow for over 400k. These prices are mentalgoing to get even more overrun (with house prices going up) with all the WFH crew moving out of London over the next few years.
My family are from Pendeen so maybe there is a chance for me to move down there in the future
Not lived in England for 14 years now. When I did live there I was in Northampton for a while which didn’t do much for me towards the end.
I suppose it would have to be where I have the best memories, so Sunderland; specifically Middle Herrington and Durham; specifically Carrville which are the two places I grew up in.
Stroud.
FACT.
