I wouldn't take the new ball straight away,as the ball gets softer the aussies will find it harder to score, this will put more pressure on them.

Clarke 'we've not had the rub of the green'.

Fuck right off pup. You would have been back in the digs off first innings.

Good day for England. Bowlers get a rest, new ball not too far off. We'll end up winning by around 80 runs I reckon.

Just 9 overs, keep swann on till the new ball, keep it tight, aim to have a wicket before 200 and anderson and broad may wrap this test match up....

Not over by along way yet like !

Did he really say that? Bloody hell. Agar not given out when he was stumped on six. Root given out without hitting the ball and Trott given out when he had hit it. Broard getting another eighteen runs after his reprieve, maybe forty runs altogether including partnerships. I know which team has had the most of the breaks.

That is without the playing and missing and edges dropping short before lunch today. In his own case, he knicked it, was given out twice , and the other dismissals were referred correctly.

But they are still in this game. All their tail can bat properly and they have all done so before.

He did, on tms, right after close of play.

Just me or is this thread a bit knacked? We are on page 29. Says there is a page 30. But if you click it it takes you to the top of page 29

Roger out
Not just this thread, many do it.

A rabbits away somewhere.

He must be the worst person for using appeals ever.

Btw, when he was given out caught behind, would the umpire have still given it even if he'd seen that Broad overstepped for a no ball? Before the referral obviously.

If Broad had overstepped, the review would have stopped then and there and he would have been not out. That's why it's always the first thing that gets checked when a review is requested.

Havent read the thread for a while but wondered how the bed wetters and knee jerkers have been given the way the game has ebbed and flowed? (like a roller coaster i imagine considering we had some saying we were were fucked and Cook's resignation being asked for at lunch yesterday :oops:).

Todays play was enthralling from ball one and fair play to England for sticking to their plans and being patient on what appeared for long spells to be a deck offering very little.

Swanns last wicket was absolutely sublime.

Barring something stupidly freaky we should go 1 up. 8-)

It's been a cracking game so far, so unpredictable.

It's nicely poised for tomorrow, can't wait.
